Facebook launched the Small Business Grant Program in 2015, to help small business recover from the struggles of a post-recession economy.
Facebook understands that local businesses are the backbone of communities. Even when times are tough, they have been there for people in their neighborhood when they need them most.
In order to help these struggling small businesses grow and prosper, Facebook has introduced a Small Business Grant Program. This program provides a range of services for small businesses across 30 countries and helps them to recover from the struggles of a post-recession economy.
Facebook is offering a small business grant worth $100 million to firms all around the world, in order to help them recover from the economic downturn.
Facebook – Big Tech Giant
In the world of social media platforms, Facebook is by far the biggest company. It has 1.8 billion active monthly users and on average, 420 million of those log on every day. The company has made it clear that it wants to be an integral part of people’s lives and that includes their work-life too. Facebook is doing this by offering businesses a $100m (£78m) business grant aimed at helping them recover from the economic downturn.
In order to help small business owners keep their businesses running, Social Media will offer cash grants and advertising credits. Facebook said that it will also provide training and access to Facebook programs such as Facebook Live and promoted posts. The company will also offer local advertising credits for those who promote their business on the platform.
Businesses can apply for up to $50,000 in funding and will be able to get the money in $5,000 increments each month for three years.

The application process is relatively easy and does not require a complicated application form. There are only two parts to the process: the company’s financial information and legal information. A PDF of the most recent financial statements is a requirement for most small business grants.
The other requirement for most small businesses is that they need to provide a legal certificate. This ensures that the business has permission to trade and isn’t infringing on any trademark or copyright laws.
An incorporation certificate identifies the existence of an organization in a specific state. It formally recognizes a company as a separate and distinct entity. This is done by establishing the date of incorporation, share type, number of shares, and other important information about the business.
